A course designed for those who need to touch, observe, and ask questions live. Theory complements practice in the field, and vice versa.

Field access

You observe and understand every mechanism of the micro-farm directly on site, in operation.

Maximum 15 people to ensure rich exchanges and individual attention.

Organic lunch included

All midday meals are prepared with farm vegetables. An informal exchange moment essential to the training.

Day 1

Business model & setup

  • Guided tour of the farm: production zones, infrastructure, workflow
  • Bio-intensive small-acreage business model: ratios, budgets, sizing
  • Choosing your land, sizing greenhouses and beds, legal status
  • Organic lunch prepared with farm produce
  • Classroom workshop: overall design of your project
Day 2

Crop techniques & living soil

  • Living soil: hands-on observation, compost, mulch, green manure
  • Detailed crop plans: tomatoes, salads, root and leaf vegetables
  • Tool demonstration: broadfork, micromotteuse, suitable tractors
  • Organic lunch + sharing time between participants
  • Annual planning workshop: calendar, rotations, succession
Day 3

Sales & organisation

  • Harvest, washing, packaging: tour of the cold room and packing area
  • Sales channels: markets, baskets, restaurants, direct sales
  • Work organisation, team management, standardising practices
  • Organic lunch and group debrief
  • Personalised action plan: concrete roadmap for your project

This in-person course does not give access to the Microferme online course. The two products are independent: the in-person course is about immersion and group exchange over 3 days, the online course is about depth and lifetime access to 130+ videos.

Does this course give access to the online course?

No. The in-person course and the online course are two independent products with complementary but distinct content. If you want both, contact us for a bundled quote.

What's the price?

On request, depending on your status and group size. Contact us by email and we'll send a proposal within 48 hours.

Is accommodation included?

No, accommodation is not included. We provide a list of partner B&Bs and gîtes near the farm (Sanvensa, Aveyron). Expect €50 to €90 per night depending on standing.

What if I can't attend all 3 days?

The course is designed as a continuous 3-day journey, we don't offer partial enrolment. Missed content cannot be made up: please plan to be available for the full dates.
